The Tough Holiday Rush
Everywhere around the world there seems to be unrest, chaos, and difficulties.
We cannot listen to the news without hearing conflict amongst countries. As members of the human race, we see such disrespect, cruelty, and hatefulness toward our fellow man.
We seem to be indifferent to others’ differences, whether they are cultural, religious or political.
While reflecting this holiday season, it is important that we ponder our own relationships with others.
It is important to know that when we look at others, we can see more of the “similarities” of a person than the “differences.” We all seek the same things: to be loved, respected, and free. Instead of looking for the differences in others, let us look at what connects all of us to the human race.
“Many of the faults you see in others, dear reader, are your own nature reflected in them.” – Rumi
